Straight shot North on the 101 today. Lots of beautiful trees and no traffic, it was a beautiful drive. That is, it was until the GPS took us off on the wrong ramp to the Sounds of the Sea Resort. It was a narrow one lane road with tree branches striking our roof for almost 2 miles. And the road was washed out at one point so we were on gravel and dirt at that point. No one was happy about that!
Once we finally turned into the driveway of the Resort all was forgiven. It's just as nice here as we remembered, lots of space between our coaches and flowers everywhere. We can see patches of the ocean through the trees and we can hear the sea lions barking. Too bad it's so early in the year as there is a large blackberry patch right behind our coach.
It looks like the stores are open in Trinidad as long as the humans practice social distancing and wear a mask. That means shopping and maybe dinner at a restaurant, which is followed by doggie bags for me.
This is a picture of our adjoining sites. We have our own little patch of nasturtiums. Look closely and you can see Warren setting up the She Shed while Jim patches a flat tire on his bike.
