NOT TOO CRABBY

Today we only traveled about 130 miles to the town of McMinnville, Oregon. It was a very pretty drive on two lane "blue highways" all the way.  First we drove along the Suislaw River and then into an area of farms and orchards. The scariest part of the trip was when we met about 5 wide load hay bailers and had to move over almost off the road to let them go by. There was no shoulder and there were only inches to spare between us and the wide loads.

The  rest of the drive was pleasant, driving through vineyards, orchards and farms and the city of Corvallis before we reached our destination of McMinnville. I guess our driver was a little tired because it took three circles around the Park before we finally found our site. It is a beautiful RV Park and we have two really nice spaces. It's been a tiring day for all! Some of us were a little crabby!

Kathy and Warren presented Jim with a new hat this morning. It's supposed to be a crab for Oregon crabbing, but it looks like a lobster to me! Doesn't he looks marvelous!
