RED, WHITE, AND BLUE

It's my most hated day of the year, the 4th of July.  I'm as patriotic as the next doggie, but I hate fireworks. Of course, we just happen to be right next to the West Yellowstone city park where the fireworks spectacular is scheduled for 10:30 tonight. Last night was amateurs night here in the RV resort, with people celebrating the 3rd of July until 12:30.  No body gets any sleep when I can't sleep!

Today we decorated our coaches for the holiday.  Here we are in all our splendor.  Jim and Kathe's coach is the one on the right and the Taylors are next to us on the left.

There are all sorts of hometown festivities here in West Yellowstone. There is a parade and a concert tonight before the fireworks, but the best event was called, "pie on the porch."  The Yellowstone Museum society sold slices of homemade pie for $5.00 to benefit the museum. YUM!
